Authoritive Paid Directories

So as mentioned in my last blog post titled, “Paid Directory Collapse” I called out two directories that I’ve always enjoyed working with and feel as if they are the “Luxury Cars” of the directory industry. Those two directories are Best of the Web and Go Guides.
Another great directory I’ve found is an education portal; UnixL. You can’t buy a link into the directory as far as I’ve been able to see and you actually have to be considered good enough (authoritive) in order to obtain a link.
On top of not being able to really buy your way into this directory, it has unique content on every page that I’ve viewed and has aged pretty nicely.
So now I’ve shared a few of my top choice directories with you. I know there are some SEOers out there that will keep certain directories to themselves but for those of you willing to share; what are your top three directories and why?
hmm… BOTW and GoGuides… those are some directories I’ve never heard of before.
Let me list my goldmine directories here in exchange for what you revealed in this post. That way all my competitors can submit their sites and increase their rankings over mine.
And then, the directories will become more high-profile and Google will penalizes them like they did to the ones in your last post.
GREAT fricken idea!

SEO is built off of a community of people who share practices and results of practices. At least that is the type of SEO I practice and have practiced for the last five years.
Truthfully, I don’t worry about what Google or other search engines think about the three directories I named off. I think they are all good and can stand their own with or without search engines. They drive traffic to the sites that are listed with them.
I’m confident to point out my top three and if you fear what Google is going to do or if your competitors are stalking you to learn your secrets then feel free not to share.
